Before IV Sedation

At Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Associates, we prioritize your comfort and well-being during dental procedures. We aim to make your visit as smooth and stress-free as possible. Prior to the procedure, you will have a consultation to discuss your medical history, any medications you are taking, and your concerns. This helps ensure conscious sedation is appropriate for you. If IV sedation is part of your treatment plan, please review and follow the list of instructions provided below before your procedure.

  • Do not wear any jewelry from the neck up.
  • Please notify us if you are taking any GLP-1 Agonist medications prior to your procedure.
